When looking to start my new business I approached Andrew to see what he could offer. The whole process from the first meeting, through to the logo design and web page development was great and the team was fantastic in offer options, recommendations and kept me informed and a part of the whole design process. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the experience was fun, exciting and the end results have been fantastic. I would highly recommended the zest team.

From the entire Cavaliers crew - thank you to the team of zest-y creatives that have produced a brilliant new website for our club. The player bios section is fantastic, and our overall new brand image with the new logo design is perfect.
I approached zest around some logo and brand concepts when we won approval from Cricket Tasmania to join the Cricket Tasmania Premier League. We needed to be strong and contemporary. Players, coaches and stakeholders immediately resonated with the design concepts and they became quite the focus for what ‘The Raiders’ stakeholders were after. Our strong orange and grey logo is already prominent on several hundred articles of player clothing and will come to represent Northern Tasmania’s cricket re-emergence for men, women and now under 18s. When it came time to designing tickets for our major raffle to be sold at the 2 Big Bash games and our George Bailey Coterie luncheon in Launceston, Ellie was efficient, detailed and delivered a timely service. Go zest and go Raiders!

The professional team at zest made the creation of our McCormack Wines website such a simple and easy experience for us. Not only did they do a magnificent job creating the website, finding perfect imagery, designing the page layout and make it look and function how we wanted it to but Zest also married in business cards and business flyers to match as well. zest is a one-stop-shop, thanks to Sam and the zest team for such a great outcome.

I have been using zest for my online businesses for the past 6 years. Since day one, when I had no idea about how to make a website or set up a business, the team at zest have gone above and beyond to help me out. I can’t thank them enough. Without the professionalism and the creativity of zest, my businesses would not be as successful as they are now.

Got questions? Awesome - because we’ve got answers!
What type of things do you print?
We’re glad you asked, lots!
Some of the popular printed items we can assist with are:
Stationery – letterheads, with compliments, envelopes, notepads and more
Billboard skins, installation and advertising
Vehicle wraps and signage
If what you’re after isn’t listed, don’t stress, we have solutions for every print need (or we will do the research for you).
How long does printing take?
Every print job is different and takes a different amount of time to produce, however, most of our printing takes 7-10 working days from artwork approval. If you require your printing sooner, please let us know and we will do our best to work with you to meet your deadline.
Do you print in-house?
No, we don’t. We are print brokers and deal with numerous printers so we can find the right printer for every print job, ensuring the best quality and bang for buck.
I’m not sure if my artwork is right, what should I do?
The ideal supplied artwork is a high-resolution PDF with crop marks and a minimum 3mm bleed. If you are not sure if your artwork is print-ready, just send it through and we will take a look.
What does GSM mean?
GSM or grams per square metre is a measurement to look at when selecting papers. GSM refers to the weight of the paper and is sometimes confused with the thickness of the paper. It is important to note that if two papers are 250gsm, they may not be the same weight due to the type of paper used.
We suggest different GSMs for different jobs, for example, we recommend at least 350gsm for business cards, while 100gsm is a standard option for letterheads so they can go through office printers easily.
Will printed colours look the same as the colours on my screen?
No, they won’t and that’s for a few reasons. The type of colour used on screens is called RGB (red, green, blue) which devices use to show images to you. On printing presses, they use either CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, key/black) or PMS (pre-mixed inks that are universally recognised) and naturally, with the use of different colour spectrums, the colours will appear differently.
Another reason is down to the device you are using and its calibration, everything from the technologies to the brightness, will have an impact on the colour you see.
What type of materials do you print on?
From standard laser paper, speciality paper, aluminium composite, vinyl banner and one-way vision to corflute, mesh banner, outdoor banner (and a whole heap more), we have a material to suit your needs.
We also have an array of finishes to take your printing from great to amazing such as lamination, spot UV, Scodix, embossing, metallic foiling, perfect binding, saddle stitch binding and folding to name a few.
What do CMYK and PMS printing mean?
CMYK refers to cyan, magenta, yellow, key (black) and is the four-colour process used for full-colour printing. It uses these four different ink colours to create all colour variations. This means that it is not as precise as PMS which is exact but is the choice for most print applications.
PMS stands for Pantone Matching System, a universal colour system that represents each colour as a numbered code, for example, PMS 485 is red. Unlike CMYK, PMS colours are pre-mixed with a specific ‘recipe’ of inks before printing and deliver the most consistent and precise colour possible in printing.
I’ve got my letters, flyers or brochures printed; can you mail them for me?
We sure can. We have great relationships with Australia Post and local mail distribution services and are experts in taking your printing from the press straight to mailboxes.
I need help with my artwork, where do I start?
If you don’t have artwork yet or need a hand with setting it up for print, our in-house creative team can help in no time.
